Our flying field is located in Linden just off Route 220 behind
Carpenter's
farm.
Our club meetings are held
on the 3rd Wednesday of each month @ 6:30pm, at our flying field
during temperate weather and at the Harvest Moon Restaurant when cold weather
has set in.
Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend any club meeting.
Visitors are welcome to
come watch us fly where Saturday and Sunday are best.

The
Wings of Williamsport club is an organization of aviation enthusiasts. It is a
club chartered through the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA):

We are
dedicated to the advancement and enjoyment of model aviation. Our club motto:

Our
primary interest is radio controlled flying of model aircraft and helicopters.

Throughout the year, the club sponsors several events for club members and the
public. These events include spring and summer fun-flies, cookouts, and our
3-day Wings Over Piper fly-in held at the Piper Memorial Airport in Lock Haven
the 1st weekend in August.

Our
Mission as the Wings of Williamsport model airplane club is to develop a social
organization of modelers to promote the building and flying of radio controlled
model aircraft.
Values
- Encourage the aims and ideals of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA)
Maintain a safe flying site for flying model aircraft.
- Secure
appropriate insurance for the club and its members through affiliation with the
AMA.
- Share
education, experience, and information regarding full size and model aviation.
- Promote
more interest in model aviation in our community.
- Organize and promote flying contests and other activities.
- Publish
a monthly newsletter for club members & maintain a website for club information
and links for helpful and recreational purposes.
- Promote
interest in the club through its many activities.
